Our PTA

The Marin Elementary School PTA is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school.  Our PTA is the building block for the school’s fundraising and community-building activities that support our school. 

 

We are proud of our strong tradition of parent volunteers! We place great value in parent involvement, and we know that our students’ success is greater when parents are involved.  

 

The contributions of the PTA can loosely be divided into two categories: in-class enrichment and support, and community-building events. Below is a partial list that gives a sense of what we do.

In-class Enrichment and Support

  • Contribution to classroom supplies
  • Contribution to PE supplies
  • Creation and support of container gardens
  • Emergency supplies for the school and each individual classroom
  • Funding and coordination for assembly programs
  • Funding for field trips
  • Funding for the Library
  • School directory
  • School site improvements (climbing wall, mural, etc.)

Community-Building Events

  • 5th Grade Picnic
