The Marin Elementary School PTA exists to support and nurture your child's academic experience while building community. We welcome all students, families, and community members to join, and strive to create a safe and inclusive experience for all. By joining the PTA you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of the district's budget; you also get great discounts, locally and nationally. Being a member doesn't mean you need to attend meetings or be involved; but for those who are interested in volunteer opportunities, either with events or at the board level, we encourage you to reach out to see how you can help.
How does your membership make a difference? Along with our other fundraising events, your membership dues go directly to programs at our school, some of which are only possible because of financial and volunteer support by the Marin PTA.
Some of the items that we fund include:
- Classroom subscriptions like Scholastic and Time for Kids
- School and classroom assemblies
- Field Trips (Virtual and in-person)
- Noontime programs, like Dance and Chess Club
- Teacher appreciation events
- Playground equipment
- Classroom materials
- Diversity events
- Rock Climbing wall at the new school
- School events, like STEAM Day, Marin Auction, Fun Run
- Spirit Week
- Movie Nights
- 5th Grade graduation events
- New school murals at the temporary sites
How to Join
NEW FAMILIES: Welcome to Marin!!! Your first step is to create a new account - simply click "Register" to get yourself set up.
RETURNING FAMILIES: Welcome back! If you are a continuing family and you are already in our Membership Toolkit system, you must first "login" to your existing account. Please note, this must be redone at the beginning of each school year to activate your account. Once you have confirmed your information for the year, you can complete your PTA membership. (If not redirected automatically after logging in, look in the "My Donations/Info" tab in the top menu.)
We have several membership levels:
The Orca Membership $400
In a typical year, this is our “one and done” membership level that was designed for families who wanted to make a single payment to all of our annual fundraising events. The COVID pandemic has affected which events we will be able to host this year, and we don’t know yet what we will be able to provide. If you’d still like to support us at this level a greater portion of this membership will be a charitable contribution. As there will be additional challenges this year, the PTA’s efforts are more important than ever. Your Premium Membership covers all PTA donations for the whole year including:
- PTA membership ($40/family)
- Hundrathon donation ($100/student)
- A pair of Moonlight Auction tickets ($45 value)
- Passes to all movie nights (subject to COVID restrictions)
- Tax-deductible charitable contribution
The satisfaction of knowing your financial contribution to the Marin PTA is done for the year
The Premier Dolphin Membership $225
Take care of your annual contributions in one payment (assumes one student enrollment) by bundling your membership and Hundrathon donations and you’re done for the year. Includes a $35 additional charitable donation. Your membership at the Dolphin level includes:
PTA membership ($40/family)
Hundrathon donation ($100/student)
Tax-deductible charitable contribution
The satisfaction of knowing that your financial contribution to the Marin PTA is done for the year
The Dolphin Membership $40
The cost for a one year, tax-deductible, family membership. The suggested donation per family is $40, but membership is possible for as little as $5 per family.

Please join us for our PTA General Meetings
Grab your dinner and join us as we navigate the school year together, and learn how the PTA supports our kids, teachers, parents, district, and community. This year all meetings will be held virtually via zoom, which means...no excuses to not attend! Meetings will be held 4 times throughout the school year.
