The Book Fair is Marin PTA’s annual fundraiser to benefit our school library.

For one week, we transform the library into a little bookstore where you and your children can buy quality books at affordable prices.

Fair Days and Hours:

October 1-6, 2018

Mon, Oct 1 - Lunch recesses & 2 to 4 pm

Tues, Oct 2 - Lunch recesses & 2 to 5 pm*

Wed, Oct 3 - Lunch recesses & 1:45 to 4 pm

Thurs, Oct 4 - Lunch recesses & 2 to 5 pm*

Fri, Oct 5 - Lunch recesses & 2 to 4 pm

Sat, Oct 6 - 10am to 3 pm

*We’ll be open late (until 5 pm) on Tuesday & Thursday.

Yuyi Morales

Friday, October 5 at 7pm

Yuyi Morales is a Cladecott Honor artist and five-time recipient of the Pura Belpre Award for Illustration. Her latest picture book, Dreamers, is a personal account of her own family's immigration experience, moving to San Francisco from her native Mexico with her American husband and their infant son. Don't miss the chance to meet this captivating professional storyteller, dancer, choreographer, puppeteer and artist. Some of her most notable works include Just A Minute, Nino Wrestles the World, Thunderboy, Jr., and Viva Frida.

Classroom Wish List Program:

You can purchase books at the fair to donate to a classroom. Come on in, look for the colorful display & browse the teachers’ wish lists. By purchasing one or more books from our teachers’ wish lists, you help keep Marin’s classroom libraries well-stocked with new & popular books!
